happymonsters: The Big Picture: This Year in Same Sex Marriages (Photos) Click-through for more photos and stories. This is just so incredibly beautiful. I almost teared up of joy after seeing them. Just, look at how happy they are, look at their faces, their smiles - at how they truly treasure the “sanctity” of marriage. How much they love each other. There are couples who have to wait 9+ years to get married, and even more. To think that people think marriages that last 5 days between a heterosexual couple are “purer” than gay marriages just astounds me. Really. Look at how happy they are. The overturning of prop 8 (which bans prop 9 in Cali) almost brought me to tears. I’m so proud to be an ally for equal rights, and always will be.
